1. i believe that the cartoons in the whole story add a whole other dimension to this story. by seeing these you are seeing what the author wants you to see and not just what you create your imagination. i believe that this helps everyone think more similar things and not have too many interpretations to the story.
2.i think that the use of animals creates a different meaning for the story. it creates new questions on why he used those animals and what all this symbolism means so i believe that it does take a little bit away from the story of the holocaust but adds to the story in the sense that it makes for new questions and meanings.
3.dehumanization is added in this story by the use of the animals. it shows that everyone treated everyone lesser than they were and it shows how big the nazis were compared to how big the jews were( cats to mice, there is a big difference between their size and power).
